Our show for April 30
Reputations fell off the rails on a colossal scale this week as Defence Minister Brendan Nelson faced the coffin cock-up of Private Jake Kovko and the mystery still surrounding the sniper’s death; two die and the State Government’s safety spin on Regional Fast Rail comes unstuck; and Big Brother revisited - no, not the TV show, the ID card, mark 2. We asked who could front the card to ’sexy’ it up for the Australian Government… Jack Thompson, come on down.
Oooooooooops
Henrietta went haywire this week claiming that the fast train crash happened on the regional fast rail line before Ballarat. Oh contraire… the RFR bosses were fast to point out… it happened past Ballarat, ie, beyond the RFR boundary. Begs the question what the train was doing there in the first place!… Anyhoo, like Batchelor, Henrietta will wait for the findings of the three inquiries before making any further grand statements.
SORRY ALL: Still no podcast! Richo is back on-air Sunday May 7 so the Spin should be on line too.
